After using them for a week, I can attest to this. My daughter and I wear our hair in ponytails daily. With our usual hair ties, by the end of her school day her hair is, well, a bit of a mess. With the Scunci hairties, though, they stayed in all day and held her hair. I found I didn't have to redo or adjust my ponytail as often. The colors are cute, but my only concern is that the metallic ones feel a bit scratchy and I wonder if that damages hair when combined with such a tight hold. Personally, I have fine hair, so when looking for a hair tie, I need ones that are not damaging to the hair and can hold my hair throughout the day. With these hair ties, I did not find them to pull my hair out nor did they fall out easily. I found that the elastic bands are stretchy, but they provide a tight hold to handle all my hair. They seem tight when you first use them but by the second use they seem to loose elasticity. I like to pull my pony tail tight and the brand usually has good quality holders but this one could use some work. And the color isn&rsquo;t my vibe. I like dark colors that are bold not a lot of colors at once just one shade will do. The product does work really good when you just want to throw your hair up and they hold really good and don&rsquo;t pull any of your hair out when removing. Not only do these hold my hair up perfectly, but they&rsquo;re super cute too! It&rsquo;s hard finding elastics that won&rsquo;t break due to my hair being pretty thick and very long. These are AMAZING! I&rsquo;m surprised about how comfortable they are while doing such a great job at keeping my hair secure. I love how they aren&rsquo;t thin, they actually have some girth to them! Super cute, reliable and sturdy.
